1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GroupBySQL, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GroupBySQL for personal, educational, or internal business learning purposes only.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the platform
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract content
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access
- Submit malicious SQL, harmful code, or illegal content
- Use the service in sanctioned countries or for prohibited end-uses
4. Intellectual Property
Challenge scenarios, datasets, tests, UI/UX, code, and branding are © GroupBySQL. “GroupBySQL” is a trademark. You may not reproduce or sell any part of the platform.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of your queries, solutions, and comments (“User Content”). You grant GroupBySQL a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, display, and use your User Content to operate and improve the platform. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. DMCA & Infringement
We respect intellectual property. Report violations to hello@groupbysql.com. We respond to valid DMCA notices and may terminate repeat infringers.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
GroupBySQL is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GroupBySQL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Maximum aggregate liability: $100.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GroupBySQL from claims arising from your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. You may stop using the platform at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue and jurisdiction lie exclusively in Delaware state or federal courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-product notice when feasible.
